The Friends of Eastbourne Hospital invite their supporters and members to a three-course meal, plus coffee, at The Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne
The event will include our guest speaker Terry Henson giving a talk entitled ‘Beyond the Canvas: A short journey through Twentieth-Century British art’.
Menu Choices are:
STARTER
– Smoked Salmon with King Prawn, horseradish cream and lime vinaigrette
– White Onion, Beef and Thyme Soup with a Gruyere croute
– Stuffed Brown Mushroom with a hazelnut crumble, butterbean, garlic and parsley ragout (vegan)
MAIN
– Pan fried Cod Loin, white clam chowder sauce, red onion rings, sauteed shimeji mushroom
– Rosemary braised Rump of Lamb, chargrilled vegetables with a roast jus
– Chargrilled Aubergine Steak, sun blush tomato, port glazed banana shallots, fine beans and vegan jus (vegan)
DESSERT
Cherry and Almond Tart, vanilla anglaise, cherry ice cream
Chocolate Mousse, confit orange puree, orange sorbet
Charred Pineapple in a spiced rum caramel, mojito sorbet (vegan)
The lunch will also include a raffle.
